Did you know that the Malaga cathedral is called "La Manquita"?
Why? What does it mean?
Here the explanation with my own words:
Manquita comes from manca. And "manca" is a person who only has one arm. "manquita" is like saying it in a nice way; like Perra = Perrita, Casa = Casita, etc etc
I hope you understand.
The cathedral should have two towers, but one of the towers could not be finished because there was no more money for the construction. But specially this is one of the most attractive attributes of this themple, popularly known as "La Manquita".

Y no te sentirás tan extraño aquí porque parte de Fuengirola le pertenece a Finlandia. Fuengirola es como "little Suomi" jejeje

Hola!
Hoy ha amanecido con el cielo triste y oscuro, con ganas de llorar. Pero este cielo casi siempre se consuela y tarda unos días más hasta que finalmente llora y cuando llora lo hace con fuerza.
Bueno, es que hoy estoy muy poetica. Me refiero a que con un cielo así debería llover a cantaros, pero aquí no pasa nada ... sólo unas gotitas, hasta que llega el día y no para de caer agua del cielo.
Con un día así, me apetecía dar un paseo por la ciudad de Málaga y me perdí por el Gibralfaro, la Alcazaba, el Teatro Romano, la Catedral, etc etc
No me dió tiempo a todo, queda mucho de Málaga aún por ver.
Pero aquí te paso un adelanto ....
